Repeat Keep

Support

A workout logger for iPhone. Here is how the parts that confuse people actually behave.

Need a person? Email support@cuscolabs.com. Telling us your iPhone model, the iOS version, and what you expected to happen gets you a useful answer fastest.

Getting started

Repeat Keep asks you to sign in with Apple before you start. Your workouts are kept in your account, so they are on every iPhone you sign in to rather than trapped on one phone.

Create a routine

Open Templates, tap New, name the routine, then add exercises: strength exercises with a number of sets, a starting weight and target repetitions, or cardio with a duration, speed and incline. A routine with no exercises cannot be started.

Do a workout

Open Workout. The routine you used least recently is marked Up next; tap any routine to start it. Each exercise is a compact card, and the next one to do is marked Up next. Tap a card to open it, adjust the weight or repetitions with the − and + controls, then tap Log set. Beside each set you see what you actually did last time. A logged set becomes a one-line result with Undo, and a card folds away once you finish or skip it. Finish workout files it in History.

End a workout without finishing it

End workout asks what to do. End and keep files the sets you logged in History, marked "Set aside". Discard workout removes it and its sets from your account on every device, and cannot be undone. A workout with nothing logged is simply cancelled.

Your data

Does it work without a signal?

Yes, once you have signed in on that iPhone. Your iPhone keeps a copy of your workouts, and anything logged offline is sent as soon as you are back online. While offline, a banner says so and counts the changes still waiting.

What happens when I sign out?

Signing out removes your workouts from that iPhone. They stay in your account, and signing back in brings them back. If anything you logged has not reached our servers yet, Repeat Keep says so and offers to back it up first. It will not throw away a set you logged without asking.

Can I delete a workout?

Yes. Open it in History and tap the trash button. It is removed from your account on every device.

Can I get my data out?

Yes. Account → Export local data writes a JSON file of every workout, routine and setting on your iPhone. It is created on your device.

How do I delete everything?

Signing out and deleting your account are different. Signing out removes your workouts from one iPhone and leaves your account alone. Account → Delete account removes your workouts from our database, removes the account itself, and asks Apple to revoke Repeat Keep’s access to your Apple ID. That cannot be undone.

Troubleshooting

"Your saved workouts could not be opened"

The app found a saved file it could not read. Rather than overwrite it, it keeps a copy alongside the original and starts fresh. Nothing is thrown away. If the message says the file could not be copied aside, the app deliberately stops saving so it cannot destroy the only copy. Email us before uninstalling, because uninstalling removes it.

My workout from another iPhone is not here

Check that both iPhones are signed in with the same Apple ID and are online. Workouts arrive when the app is opened or brought back to the front.

Accessibility

Repeat Keep supports Dynamic Type, including the accessibility text sizes, and VoiceOver. If something is hard to read, hard to hit, or reads poorly with VoiceOver, please tell us. That is a bug, and we would like to fix it.

Privacy

The full policy is on the privacy page. In short: no advertising, no analytics, no tracking, and your workouts are yours.
